A Revitalised Community Hub in Albion Park

Terry Reserve in Albion Park has recently undergone a transformative upgrade, bringing new life to one of the Illawarra’s busiest playing fields. Spearheaded by Shellharbour City Council and delivered by Better View Landscapes, the revitalisation of this well-loved community hub includes the installation of our popular Nitro Gladiator Cage – an all-in-one functional fitness unit designed for users of all skill levels.

Positioned alongside a newly upgraded, shaded playground and fresh landscaping, the Gladiator Cage adds a dynamic fitness offering to this rejuvenated space. The unit features a comprehensive mix of equipment including dip bars, monkey bars, Swedish bars, an inverted bench, adjustable-height pull-up bar, roman rings, flat bench, and plyometric platforms. With capacity for up to seven users at once, the Nitro Gladiator Cage is built for versatility – from casual workouts to high-performance training.

Terry Reserve is more than just a sports field – it’s a thriving community destination used by people of all ages, all day long. This new fitness zone not only supports active lifestyles but complements the broader vision for the reserve: a connected, inclusive space for everyone in the growing Albion Park area.

The feedback from the local community has been overwhelmingly positive, with residents embracing the improved amenities and the opportunity to enjoy outdoor exercise in a fresh, functional setting.

Another great outcome with our friends at Better View Landscapes – and a proud moment for the UrbanFiT team to help bring the vision to life.
